LED: Energy efficient, Long lasting lifetime, Excellent light intensity

The LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a light source based on the electroluminescence technology, made from semiconductor material. The color of the emitted light by the LED depends on the composition of the semiconductors material. The main advantages of the LED technology are the excellent light intensity, the low energy consumption and the long lasting lifetime (30-50,000 hours).

LGP

The LGP (Light Guide Plate) is a LED technology based light source, which provides the backlighting of our products. Based on a transparent cast acryl sheet, screen printed or laser-engraved (greater sizes) on one side and a reflecting foil on the same side. Depending on the size we build one or more LED bars in the edges. The combination of these elements creates an entirely homogeneous backlighting.

Thickness: 4-12 mm
Sizes: from a few cm²'s to multiple m²
Illumination: use of LED (light intensity can be improved with the LGP's thickness and with stronger LEDs)
Power Supply: 12 V DC or 24 V DC

Note: The end of the lifetime means the maximum of 50% loss of the original light intensity.
